Are Wu Yi Tea Reviews Honest?

by Caitlin Ryan

So, you want to look fantastic this summer. Who doesn't? Certainly, looking great in summer outfits is something I want! You might be reading all the wu yi tea reviews wondering if this is your weight loss solution as it was for me.

Wu yi (oolong) tea has many health benefits due to its antioxidant content (just like green tea), AND you are likely to see wonderful weight loss results. Unfortunately, there are wu yi scams being exposed in many wu yi tea reviews that may make you leery of trying wu yi or oolong tea.

Which wu yi tea reviews you can trust? Which wu yi companies are honest? You want to benefit from this ancient Chinese slimming secret as I did and be ready for summer's revealing clothing. I have had great results with wu yi tea, and I want you to understand the reviews so you can make an informed decision.

One type of wu yi tea review you will find is the scam alert. This one is important because it will save you from having fraudulent credit card charges! The unscrupulous wu yi tea company lures you into a free trial and then charges your credit card for wu yi tea auto shipments. Some consumers have lost more than $100 on this wu yi scam.

There are also people who were dissatisfied with wu yi tea because they did not lose weight. There could be a few reasons behind this lack of weight loss. Many wu yi companies sell poor quality wu yi (oolong) tea or green tea that will not help you lose weight. Make SURE you check to see if the wu yi tea is USDA certified organic AND that the company is backed by the BBB!

Another reason for lack of weight loss could simply be that the consumer did not realize they needed to diet and exercise along with drinking the wu yi tea. Some wu yi reviews would have you believe that they drank the tea and did not lose weight, yet the fail to mention the donuts they had for breakfast or that they did not move from the couch most nights.

Wu yi tea is a FABULOUS addition to your weight loss plan that includes proper diet and exercise. Oolong (wu yi) tea helps you burn more fat and boosts your exercise efforts. It helps block starch so those occasional eating mistakes are forgiven.

Think about how many calories you consume in a day due to beverages such as sodas or lattes. By replacing these with ZERO calorie wu yi (oolong) tea, you may be able to cut 500 calories a day. This is equivalent to one pound of weigh per week to help you look fabulous by summer!

The Wu Yi Tea Company also makes a product called Wu Yi Cleanse. The product uses green tea among other ingredients to cleanse your system and free your body of toxins that may be responsible for weight gain. A sluggish digestive system causes weight gain.

Part II Weight Loss Meal Plan with Wu Yi Tea

by Caitlin Ryan

If you are ready to feel fantastic and look amazing, I have a wu yi oolong weight loss menu that tastes fantastic. The key to eating healthfully is to be creative in the kitchen. I have some great ideas to get you started!

In my plan, I use wu yi oolong tea along with whole grains, veggies, fruit, nonfat dairy and lean proteins. I enjoy eating and feel that its important to lose weight while not going hungry or settling for boring health foods. This plan will allow you to be creative and follow this plan for life to lose weight and maintain a healthy weight.

I really look forward to my breakfast. I poach an egg and place it on a thin slice of wholegrain toast. Then I add the flavor: diced tomatoes, fresh herbs and pepper sauce! The egg yolk drenches the toast so you do not need butter. If you are more of a cereal person, try my alternative quick breakfast: cup whole grain cereal with berries and banana slices. I always have a mug of wu yi tea as well!

The idea is to use either lean protein or a whole grain for the base of your breakfast and add veggies or fruit. Can you think of another way of achieving this? How about a piece of whole grain toast with a bit of Dijon mustard, two slices of deli chicken or turkey and some marinated mushroom leftovers from the night before? Veggies, fruits and whole grains contain fiber, which is an excellent way to start your day and lose weight!

Remember that you will have a snack mid-morning and mid-afternoon while you drink wu yi oolong tea, iced or hot. Keep fruits, veggies, seeds, nuts and lean protein on hand. I love to have a handful of almonds and some fresh berries as one of my snacks.

You can also have a nonfat yogurt with a teaspoon of flax seed. Another favorite of mine is a tablespoon of nonfat vanilla yogurt with a bowl of fresh strawberries. I enjoy a mug of wu yi tea with herbal caramel tea mixed in.

At lunch, I have a colorful salad with pre washed baby lettuces, tomatoes, carrots and whatever veggies I can grab from the refrigerator. I add a handful of lean protein (about the size of a deck of cards or smaller) such as turkey, chicken, tuna or shrimp. Not only is this great for weight loss, but it will give you a boost of energy for the afternoon.

What is key in weight loss? Planning! Cook a piece of lean protein the night before to use with your salad the next day. You can simply prepare an extra piece at dinner time! You can prep veggies the night before as well!

Drizzle the salad with balsamic vinegar, lemon juice or pepper sauce and enjoy it with a glass of iced wu yi tea. Stay away from creamy dressings. Many people drench salads in creamy dressings that add 300 calories or more and wonder why they do not lose weight.

Dinnertime is the same principal as lunch. You can have the veggies as a side salad or mix it with your lean protein source. Add a small side of such as couscous, sweet potato, quinoa or brown rice. You can marinate any lean protein in olive oil, lemon juice, pepper sauce, herbs, garlic and onion. And do not forget the mug of wu yi tea!

Dessert is something that many people trying to lose weight think they need to skip. Not true. You just have to choose something healthy to satisfy your sweet or salty craving. When we deny ourselves too often, we end up binging on fattening foods later.

If you enjoy sweet treats (like me), try my favorite: a mug of herbal vanilla and wu yi tea with a dark chocolate square (70% cacao). Maybe a bowl of berries with sugar-free whipped topping is your style. If you love salty snacks, skip the greasy chips and have some popcorn with pepper flakes!

Do not make the mistake of sacrificing flavor to lose weight. Wu yi oolong tea has a lovely flavor and aroma.

Weight Loss Meal Plan with Wu Yi Tea Part I

by Caitlin Ryan

Do you want to be fit and healthy? Me too! I have recently explained wu yi tea and how it has massive health benefits and the ability to help you lose weight. Now, I am going to share a weight loss plan that incorporates wu yi tea (aka oolong tea) to help you lose weight and attain better health! Remember that you need a great diet and exercise plan to go along with your wu yi tea!

Today, I am going to talk about the basics of a wu yi diet plan. By doing this, you will be able to play around with the actual diet meal plan that I will explain in the next blog post. This is important because in order to lose weight and keep it off for good, you need to be able to make the right weight loss choices on your own.

Basically, I always make choices based on the nutritional density of a food. Does the food have a lot of nutrition per bite? Or does it simply have a lot of calories with little or no nutritional value? When you learn about the foods that offer you the most bang for your caloric buck AND incorporate wu yi (also called oolong tea) into your meal plan, you will lose weight and feel fantastic!

I know you might be concerned that you cannot do this because you do not enjoy healthy foods like whole grains and veggies. The secret to success with eating healthy foods is to know how to flavor these foods!

The following flavorings are virtually zero calorie natural alternatives for flavoring food: pepper sauces, vinegars, Dijon mustards (no honey Dijon's!), onions, garlic, and tomatoes. In order to lose weight, it is highly important that you consume plenty of fiber found in grains and veggies. Fiber is very important for weight loss.

Skipping breakfast is one of the easiest ways to SABOTAGE your weight loss efforts. Studies have found that people are more in shape and at a better body weight when they make time for a healthful breakfast on a regular basis. I used to run out the door without eating a thing. Now I know how important it is to make that time!

The first week I began eating a healthy breakfast, I dropped 5 pounds! I added a mug of wu yi (oolong) tea to my breakfast as well. Between the food in the morning and the wu yi tea, my metabolism rose and it was easier to burn fat through diet and exercise.

You should drink wu yi tea throughout the day, whether that is hot or iced. I take my wu yi tea in a traveling mug. Keep a pitcher of wu yi tea (flavored with fresh lemon juice or other herbal teas if you would like) in the refrigerator for convenience.

Tea provides necessary water to make sure that you stay well hydrated. Being hydrated is a great way to lose weight as it is essential for a speedy digestive system. Decaf oolong tea can be used in the afternoon if you are sensitive to caffeine.

Contrary to many fad diets, you do not want to starve yourself while you attempt to lose weight. Eating small yet frequent meals is the best way to boost your metabolism and lose body fat!

I cannot tell you how much easier weight loss is if you plan and prepare in advance. You are going to want to stock your kitchen with plenty of fresh, prepared veggies such as spring greens and assorted, colorful veggies. Purchase a variety of zero-calorie flavors and try keeping plenty of lean protein choices on hand in the freezer such as chicken or turkey breast. Keep canned tuna (water-packed) in the pantry.

You can even plan the night before by preparing and extra piece of lean protein for the next day's wu yi tea diet.
